Description
Derek Mountfield is an English former footballer who played as a centre-back. He gained fame during his time at top-flight clubs Everton and Aston Villa. Mountfield joined Tranmere Rovers in the summer of 1982 for £30,000 and quickly rose to the first team, winning an FA Cup winners' medal in the 1983/84 season.
